Aaron's Workshops

"Da Hawaiian Way" and will deal with the Hawaiian vamps and the chord progressions for Hawaiian music. We will also begin to explore beginner finger picking and the Hawaiian turnaround licks. This course is for all ages and experience levels. There will be paper handouts for this course.

"Da Hawaiian Way 2" This will be taught in da Jus Press style so no papers here! Hawaiians say "Nana i ka maka, ho'olohe ka pepeiao, pa'a ka waha" It means observe with your eyes, listen with your ears, and shut your mouth. It's the way that I, myself, learned to play. Here we will Learn to outline a melody within a chord progression. We will also explore more advanced finger picking(4 finger right-hand method) and melodic embellishment. We will also get into some strumming and  picking techniques. This course will be for more experienced players and /or those who have completed the first course.
